CWNA Passed!
I managed to clear my CWNA (just) a couple of weeks back. Since then i’ve been busy with this shit or that , so i couldn’t post about it for all this time.Let me do a quick review of what i thought about the exam..
- The questions were’nt as TECHNICAL as i would have liked them to be?! After taking CISCO exams, i’m used to the questions being more pointed. Here the questions were more implementation based ( which i loved in a certain way ) which made them sorta tough for me.
- There was definitely some stress on 802.11N which i liked ‘coz i’d gone through those topics thoroughly.
- The exam was for 2 hours, so i’d plenty of time to think on each question. (Which i highly recommend!) .
- Even if you think you know the answer, spend 10 seconds reading through all the other options just to be sure. ( especially when it comes to questions with many answers ).
- Another good part is that in the questions with multiple answers , they clearly mention how many answers they are expecting, which helps you in being decisive about your answers and eliminates a lot of errors.
Final word, STAY CALM and go with your gut..:)
Cheers ALL!
WLAN troubleshooting
Alrighty! I just completed taking down notes for the WLAN troubleshooting chapter. You can find it here.
Warning : It’s a bit more detailed, than my previous one. Just because this chapter was huge and there were a lot of points to cover.
Let me know how you find it!
Cheers!

I’ve been working on some Notes / Revision material for the CWNA track that i’m pursuing. This’s the first time i’m doing anything like this and i hope this will be useful to both me and others who’d be interested in revising , etc.

PuHleez! let me know how it is? Any improvements ? Please tell me – either by e-mail or through my twitter id “Tacack” . Cheers!
Charts coming up! #CWNA
Thanks to a twitter buddy @sorabh, i’ve decided to make some charts so that i can use them for reference and you could also have a look at them if you want to refresh your CWNA memory.
